2 opinions on “water the lawn properly"

    Hallo,
this contribution to the correct watering of lawns takes up the question of a new one opensprinkler user:
My lawn is watered "every 4 days" with 15 liters / m².
If there is a heavy rain event two days after watering, I should and would like to water again in 4 days. Everything else would be too short or too long, so wasted money or damaged lawn.
It would be desirable to simply postpone all subsequent events by 2 days.
Unfortunately, that's exactly what seems to be happening with the opensprinkler but not working despite a function called “delay”?
With the “rain delay” I can only stop running events and skip upcoming appointments. However, this means that I can skip the next event and therefore only water again in 6 days or I only water again 2 days after heavy rain.
    Am I missing the solution?

      Hallo,
so in my opinion it is relatively unlikely that it will rain exactly the amount of water you have defined. Therefore, with the weather adjustments, i.e. Zimmerman or evapotranspiration, there is the possibility to have the following irrigations automatically adjusted between 0% and 200%. Depending on the amount of rain, this reduces the watering time.
