Modern buildings are increasingly being equipped with green facades. In addition to an attractive appearance, correctly implemented and well thought-out greenery can also bring benefits for the building and, for example, serve as natural sun protection.
Several SMT100 sensors are used here. Together with the OpenSprinkler, the Zone Expander and the Truebner RS485 adapter, a maximum of:
- 72 irrigation circuits
- 64 SMT100 sensors
connected and processed.
Each level represents an irrigation circle. Each level should have several SMT100 sensors depending on the type of development and plant species. Truebner can determine the exact amount.
You define the OpenSprinkler so that each level is watered one after the other. The program adjustment function of the Analog Sensor API can now shorten, lengthen or eliminate the watering duration based on the SMT100 humidity values
The following components are necessary for this:
- 1x OpenSprinkler DC
- 1x DIN rail power supply 30W / 60W
- 1-4x ZoneExpander DC
- 1x Hat holder
- 1x Truebner RS485 adapter for OpenSprinkler
- several SMT100
Additional components are necessary for a functional system, e.g. solenoid valves, sprinklers/sprayers, pipes, etc. A precise plan should be drawn up by the architect responsible for the work.
