Overview

The LPS8v2 is an open-source LoRaWAN gateway. It enables the connection of LoRa wireless networks to an IP network via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or a cellular network (via an optional 4G module). LoRa wireless allows users to send data and achieve extremely long ranges at low data rates. The LPS8v2 is fully compatible with the LoRaWAN protocol. It supports various types of LoRaWAN network connections, such as the Semtech UDP Packet Forwarder, LoRaWAN Basic Station, and ChirpStack MQTT Bridge. This allows the LPS8v2 to work with most LoRaWAN platforms on the market. The LPS8v2 also includes a built-in LoRaWAN server and IoT server, allowing system integrators to deploy IoT services without the need for cloud services or third-party servers. Different countries use different LoRaWAN frequency bands. The LPS8v2 comes pre-configured for these bands. Users can also customize the frequency bands for use in their own LoRa network. LPS8v2 supports remote management. System integrators can easily monitor and maintain the gateway remotely.
