I read in the documentation that OSPi V2.0 has 2x ADS1115 A/D-Converters which aren’t supported by the firmware yet.
I’d like to use these to connect some simple, cheap Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensors from China.
In order to try whether this is in any way possible, I downloaded and compiled an ADS1115 library for Raspberry Pi.

With the example provided with this library I was at least able to connect and read out four (A0-A3) of these very cheap sensors.
Simply dipping them in a glass of water immediately changed the voltage-values provided by these sensors.

As at least this part seems rather easy, all in all, it took me less than half an hour to get the cheap sensors working with the onboard A/D-Converters, I’m wondering whether there is any chance of getting these officially working with the firmware in the near future.

If you’d like some input, I’d gladly give some more details on what I did and how I did it.
