InactiveHello everyone,
I've had the problem for some time now that the watering is sporadically stopped.
The valve is first opened and I also see a display in the interface. Then after a few minutes everything is over.Nothing appears in the LOG either.
The error always only occurs on the 6th or 7th valve. The order doesn't matter.
I'm a little frustrated right now. Two days ago, 9 irrigations ran without any problems. Today I only managed 6.
System: OSPi on RaspberryPi 2B, 8 Hunter 24V AC valves. App version 2.2.0, firmware 2.1.9(3)

KeymasterHello,
"Two days ago, 9 waterings went without any problems. Today I only managed 6."
Do you mean AT THE SAME TIME? Your power supply will hardly be able to do that.
Have you ever measured the resistance between COM and the zones?
And the voltage while the irrigation is running?
You may have a short circuit or a solenoid valve is damaged and is using too much power.
OpenSprinkler never aborts a running program on its own, I know the source code. However, if the Raspberry PI restarts due to loss of power, or the OpenSprinkler service on the Raspberry PI is stopped, only then will the program be forcibly terminated. This would also explain that you don't have a log.

InactiveNo, the pi does not restart. The website is permanently online and responsive.
The broken cycle has always been different.
I only have two valves running in parallel, and they are always the first. Also in the log.
I tried again today and didn't take my eyes off the interface. I noticed that the time was about 10 minutes late. At some point the time updated, i.e. a jump of + 10 minutes, and then the program was gone and no log.
Then I made sure that the time was correct and ran another program. The valve was fully activated according to the web interface, but still didn't appear in the log.

InactiveI'll measure the voltage and resistance soon.

KeymasterPlease export the configuration and use the support function (https://opensprinklershop.de/support) to send

InactiveValves off:
Power supply: 26.4V
Between power supply and COM 26.3VA valve on:
Power supply to COM 25.9V
Valve to COM 25.7VResistance when valve open:
Between the valve and COM the number jumps around wildly -0.1 to 155, you often see 40.
between valve and power supply: jumps between 3 – 5.5 ohms. This morning several programs were simply canceled again. I don't see a pattern.
Program started with 3 valves. The first valve ran (10 minutes), is in the LOG. The other two (15 and 25 minutes) are not.
The failing valves are started manually, start up, turn off at some point and do not appear in the LOG.
Then another valve started manually, ran through, is in the LOG.
Then another program with two valves (20 minutes each) was started. The first valve went through, the second came on, went off after a few minutes and no LOG. The missing valve started manually, goes out after a few minutes, no LOG.Third program started with two valves in parallel. After a few minutes both go out, no LOG.

InactiveThe voltage at runtime is stable at 25.4-25.7V. No fluctuations shortly before the program is aborted.
I just started the third program again, ran through it and is in the LOG.

KeymasterSo to me it sounds like there is another program running on your OSPi that is also accessing the IO ports. If you have experimented with various home automation or other control applications, please uninstall them and try again.

KeymasterThen it occurs to me that other reasons for stopping irrigation could be:
– Rain or soil moisture sensor has been activated
– Weather-dependent irrigation is activated and reduces the irrigation timeAugust 24, 2020 at 7:20 #22353Anonymous
InactiveThere is nothing else installed except open sprinklers.
I also thought about the rain delay at first and switched it off completely. Doesn't help either.I'm going to completely reinstall the Pi with a new SD card soon, let's see if it gets better.
