OpenSprinkler and accessories – CONFIGURATOR

For outdoor installation, the OpenSprinkler requires a waterproof housing.
With the DIN rail holders you can install the OpenSprinkler in a DIN rail / DIN rail housing.

For OpenSprinkler AC and OSPi for installation on a top-hat rail, such as with the OpenSprinkler housing
Select the power based on the valves to be opened AT THE SAME TIME:
1A 24VA for 2 valves
1.5A 35VA for 5 valves
2A 50VA for 8 valves
Since 3A is the maximum current that the OpenSprinkler can handle, only choose the larger power supplies if you want to power other components, e.g. a second OpenSprinkler.

12VDC 30W or 60W power supply for OpenSprinkler DC or Latch.

With just 30W you can open 8 valves at the same time
with 60W even 16 valves

The right cable to connect a DIN rail power supply DC to the OpenSprinkler DC or Latch. Not suitable for AC - here you use a normal 12V cable.
When you purchase an IP65 housing, the cable is already included.

The Hunter Rain-Clik reacts particularly quickly to the onset of rain. This means that ongoing irrigation is reliably stopped or not started at all.
Simply connect the sensor to SEN1 + GND

Ideal for raised beds or greenhouses.
Please note that with a soil moisture sensor you only observe one point in your garden. This is therefore only suitable for small, contiguous areas.
Connection options:
a) With A2D adapter (free of charge):
The necessary A2D adapter for the OpenSprinkler is included free of charge.
Note: Unfortunately, the temperature sensor, which is also integrated, cannot be connected.
b) With analog sensor board (OpenSprinkler AC/DC/Latch only)
Soil moisture AND temperature can be read and saved.
The irrigation duration can be adjusted based on the soil moisture.
Graphical evaluation of the measured values
In the next step you can add this (not OSPi)
c) With the OSPi analog onboard inputs
For hobbyists: There are 8 analog inputs available on the OSPi (from version 1.6).
First assemble/solder the appropriate socket or plug connectors

The "Analog Sensor Board" allows the reading of 8 analog sensors in the voltage range 0..3.3V. The ADS1115 analog-to-digital converter processes the signals in a highly precise 16-bit format.
This means it is optimally designed for the Truebner SMT50, which can measure soil moisture and soil temperature.
In order for the board to be recognized, firmware OS 2.3.0 must be installed.

Expands the controllable OpenSprinkler zones by 16 additional zones.
Up to 4 zone expanders can be connected to an OpenSprinkler.
For OSPi choose the 2.1 AC
Otherwise for AC the 3.0 AC, DC the 3.0 DC and Latch the 3.0 Latch
