Expands the OpenSprinkler 2.3 / 3.0 by a further 16 valve connections. For OSPi select “2.1 AC”.
Choose the correct hardware version:
| Open sprinkler generation: | OS 3.0 + OS 3.2 | OS 2.x / OSPI | |||
| Variant: | AC | DC | Latch | AC / OSPi | DC |
| Matching expander: | 3.0AC | 3.0 DC | 3.0 latch | 2.1AC | 2.1 DC |
Never connect more than ONE solenoid valve to ONE OpenSprinkler output! OpenSprinkler can switch several outputs at the same time, so it is not necessary to combine several valves.
Temperature working range: -30 to +70 degrees Celsius
Note: Mixed operation is NOT possible! An OpenSprinkler DC always needs a ZoneExpander DC, an OpenSprinkler AC a ZoneExpander AC. You CANNOT use a ZoneExpander of any other variant!

Yes, great, as described, the only thing is that it costs more than twice as much as in the USA, that's not really understandable and then the advertised price advantage compared to. not as big as the competitors either.
Unverified purchase. More information

That's not true. The price in the USA does not include VAT or customs duties and you should also take the high shipping costs into account.
In addition, I offer a 2-year guarantee on all OpenSprinkler products in Germany (USA: 6 months) and I also pay taxes in Germany. There are also costs for WEEE (ElektroG – Electronic Waste Act) and the usual taxes.
So I can't make a living from the shop - it's just a hobby. I also program various extras - most recently I adapted the firmware to activate the second sensor input.
Please take everything in moderation and don't judge straight away. In China it would probably be much cheaper, but this is Germany.
