Use 2nd water point

Hello, I have 2 water points that I use with the Opensprinkler want to switch. On one hangs a box with 3 valves. The water supply is from the basement. I want that there too Opensprinkler position. The second water point is an outside tap. On the one hand, I would like to keep a normal non-switched water tap on the distributor. I would like to make the other switchable via a 24V solenoid valve.

Unfortunately I have no way of Opensprinkler to pull a cable. My idea is to operate a 24V power supply via a switched socket. As I read in the description, I can read out the coding with the RFToy and switch directly. Now to my questions

What about the range of the signal (must go through two walls)?
Is it possible to get a WiFi socket switched on?
Or do you have any other ideas?

The goal is everything that has to do with water over the Opensprinkler to operate.

Hello, so with OpenSprinkler you can switch both WLAN and RFToy controlled devices.

Unfortunately I can't say much about the range, in your case it's only possible by trying it out.
