Hello, I got one weeks ago OpenSprinkler 3.2 (latest firmware) which controls 8 Hunter solenoid valves. This also works great.
Now I bought a Hunter Rain Clik rain sensor and connected it via GND and SN2. Then select the rain sensor in the options under sensor 2 and leave the checkmark unchecked for "Normally Open". Since the sensor is an opener.
I see the small r in the display, which means to me that the sensor has been recognized. Now I've clicked the test button and I get the message Sensor 2 activated and the small r becomes a capital R and then the rain icon appears.
I started two irrigation circuits manually and pressed the test button again. The rain icon comes up but the watering circles don't stop. Also checked if I ticked Ignore sensor 2. That's not the case.
I tested the whole thing with sensor 1. The same result.
I also checked Normally Open. Nothing works. Now I don't know.
I would appreciate suggestions.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Heiko
Manual start of irrigation circuits or programs is not interrupted by sensors.
Otherwise it would not be possible to start a program manually if a sensor was triggered.
