Hello, I bought an OpenSprinkler 3.2 (latest firmware) weeks ago, which controls 8 Hunter solenoid valves. It works excellently.

Now I bought a Hunter Rain Clik rain sensor and connected it via GND and SN2. Then in the options under Sensor 2, I selected the rain sensor and did not check the box for “Normally Open” since the sensor is a normally open type.

On the display, I see the small r, which means to me that the sensor has been recognized. Now I clicked the test button and received the message Sensor 2 activated and the small r changes to a capital R and then the rain symbol appears.

I manually started two irrigation circuits and pressed the test button again. The rain symbol appears, but the irrigation circuits do not stop. I also checked if I had set a checkmark to ignore Sensor 2. That is not the case.

I tested the whole thing with Sensor 1. The same result.

I also checked the box for Normally Open. Nothing works. Now I don't know what to do.

    I would appreciate suggestions.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards
    Heiko

Manual start of irrigation circuits or programs is not interrupted by sensors.

Otherwise, it would not be possible to start a program manually if a sensor has been triggered.
