Most rain sensors must collect a certain amount of rainfall before activating a switch that interrupts irrigation at the controller and shuts down the system. Until then, the system will continue to use water unnecessarily. This is particularly problematic for environmentally conscious municipal, commercial and private users. The Hunter Rain-Clik and Wireless Rain-Clik with built-in Quick-Response Technology can initiate a shift immediately after precipitation sets in. The Rain-Clik can be attached to an eaves or any smooth vertical surface such as a wall or fence.
Compatible with all OpenSprinkler products. Simply to Gnd and Sn1 or Sn2 am OpenSprinkler Connect 3.0 / 3.2. at OSPi to the Rain Sensor connector. Since this is an "opener" from an electrical point of view, it must be in the OpenSprinkler-Settings not only “Rain Sensor” enabled, but also the “Normally Open” option must be OFF.
When used with the A2D: Connect the Rain-Clik to Sn1/Sn2 and VIN (+5V) directly on the A2D output and set the pot to the middle position. If that doesn't work, then connect the Rain-Clik directly to the OpenSprinkler (together with the A2D) to GND+SN1 (or SN2) and bridge the GND+SN2 (or SN1) connections on the A2D with a short cable.
NEVER CONNECT TO COM! 24VAC AC voltage is present at the COM, this can destroy the signal input!
For testing on OpenSprinkler If there is a test button, press it for at least 30s as the display reacts slowly.
For testing on the measuring device: So dry = contact connected, approx. 0,01 ohms; Wet=open contact, infinite ohms. Pressing the button opens the contact.

The captor of the water does not work on the two sides OSPi 1.52 que j'ai reçu, meme en décochant la case “toujours ouvert”, dans les paramètres d'OpenSprinkler, et me en appuyant sur le bouton de test, l'adaptateur A2D a toujours la LED rouge allumée, et consider qu'il ya toujours contact.
Pourtant, le capteur a été testé à l'ohmmètre, il indique bien un contact par défaut, et l'absence de contact quand on appuie sur le bouton de test.
Le cable noir a été testé sur SN1 et SN2 sur l'A2D, et le le rouge cable sur 5V, et le potentiomètre a été configuré de toutes les façons possibles…
L'adaptateur 'A2D functionne pourtant bien, il a été testé avec deux capteurs d'humidité, sans problems.
