This firmware supports up to 2 independent master stations, each with their own settings as below
listed.
● Master Station: Define a master station/zone, also known as a pump station. Master is a zone that
is switched on together with other zones. Each zone can be set as master. The default
is none (i.e. no use of a master station).
● Master On Adjustment: Fine-tune the exact time at which the master turns on. The acceptable one
Range is 0 to 600 seconds, in 5 second increments. For example, if it is set to 15, switches
The master station turns on 15 seconds after opening a station.
● Master Off Setting: Fine tune the exact time the master turns off. The acceptable one
Range is -600 to 0 seconds, in 5 second increments. For example, if it is set to -15, switches
The master station turns off 15 seconds before a station closes.
Handling stations
● Number of stations: OpenSprinkler can automatically detect the number of available expansion cards;
However, the user still needs to set the number of zones manually as they limit the number of physical zones
may exceed. This is particularly useful when using the virtual station feature (e.g.
remote or RF stations). The default is 8.
● Station delay: the delay time between two consecutive stations. The acceptable range
is -600 to 600 seconds, in 5 second increments. For example, if it is set to 60, opens
OpenSprinkler Firmware 2.1.9 User Manual 14
the second zone closes 1 minute after the first zone closes. Opens at a setting of -15 seconds
The second zone closes 15 seconds before the first zone closes. A negative station delay is
sometimes useful to solve water throttling problems. The default is 0 (i.e. the next
Zone opens immediately after the previous zone).
Good luck, HG
