Unfortunately, the group feature of the new firmware doesn't seem to offer what gd1122 (and I too) would like. I had this here. asked: https://OpenSprinkler.com/forums/topic/parallel-grouping-of-stations-with-2-2-0-ospi-firmware/ and unfortunately that's probably out of scope.

I want to water zones 1 and 3 at the same time and then automatically water zones 2 and 4 at the same time.

It's not clear to me how to set this up. Or it doesn't work at all.
