    Hi,

I set up my Ospi again in preparation for the new season. Of course, I made a backup of the old config beforehand. Here's what I did:

    1. Reinstalled the Raspi with the Raspi Imager to the latest RaspiOS version Trixie
    2. Fetched the latest version of your firmware via git
    3. Executed sudo ./build.sh opsi and it ran without errors
    4. Restored the config via the website

After that, the error message “Network error” appeared, and the interface was no longer really responsive. I then stopped the service and deleted the file “done.dat.” After that, the site worked again, but the settings were gone. After several troubleshooting attempts, I was able to narrow it down to the point where the Ospi runs and can also be set up (I kept starting over with the config). Up to the point where I change under “Options -> Weather and Sensors -> Adjustment Method,” then the error message Network error appears, and nothing works anymore. As soon as I set something different from “Manual,” something in the config breaks.

When I reload the website, I get the attached error message “Corrupted response.” When I then go further to the API tool from there, there is still the message when retrieving the controller data that the JSON has an error (see second screenshot).

Any idea what else could be causing this? Are there possibly other places where the Ospi stores its config that I might need to delete?

So, a small update. I reinstalled the Raspi again. This time with Bookworm instead of Trixie. After the installation, I only changed the “Adjustment Method” from “manual” to “monthly.” No other values were changed. But the error pattern described above remains. My assumption is that there is an error when saving the JSON in that area.

If I should send logs or anything else, just let me know.

    VG Mathias
