Hello community,
Recently, for the first time, the sprinkler didn't turn off even though the program ran through. I noticed that the valve is switching (it makes a clicking noise) but the water is still flowing. So the program ends as usual and records accordingly in the log, but it still sputters along. The only way I can stop the water is to close the main tap. Does anyone have an idea?

To narrow down the problem I would replace the solenoid valve. I would suspect it's the solenoid valve.
If there is no more power but the solenoid valve does not close, then it is either dirty or defective. Sometimes you just have to vent, for example if air has gotten into the line and is now “hanging” in the valve.
Thanks
