set the time correctly

In delivery condition shows OpenSprinkler 3.0/3.2 shows Boston time. The unit "Fahrenheit" is also displayed instead of "degrees". That's because OpenSprinkler uses the settings from the respective region. Under “Edit Options”, then “System”, then “Location” select your location and confirm with “Submit”.

The time should then be set correctly. Also, "degrees" should now be displayed. If it still says "Fahrenheit", just try that OpenSprinkler start anew.

But what if the time is still not correct or keeps changing? This may be due to the NTP server used. The “NTP Sync” option must be active under “Advanced”, then the time is obtained from the specified NTP server.

Tip: If you use a Fritz!Box, you can enter it as an NTP server. If you don't know the IP, go to the web interface of your Fritz!Box and enter "fritz.box" in the browser. In the “Home Network/Network” area you can see the IP of your box under “This FRITZ!Box”. Then enter this value in the OpenSprinkler under “NTP IP address”.
