Flowmeter

A flow meter can also be connected to the sensor input.

In principle, all two-wire flow meters can be connected. If an additional 5VDC is required, this can be tapped off at the VIN connection.

It all works like this:

1. Connection of the flow meter on OpenSprinkler.
2. Start the app and go to “Edit Options” / “Weather and Sensors”.
3. Set “Sensor Type” to “Flow”.
4. Set “flow rate”. This is the value of the flow meter pulse. You can find out how much an impulse is from the manufacturer of your flow meter.
5. finished.
6. The flow rate for the past waterings then appears in the log (menu “View logs”).
