KeymasterThen I recommend a firmware update first
Admin
KeymasterHello,
yes thanks, found it, it's now repaired.
So port 3333 is now also running.
Admin
KeymasterWhat have you set, i.e. which “weather-specific method”?
Link at the top of the menu, click on “System diagnostics”, what happens?
Admin
KeymasterHere all servers:
OpenSprinklerShop.de:3333 : DWD German Weather Service, only for Germany (https://brightsky.dev)
OpenSprinklerShop.de:3334 : OWM OpenWeatherMap (https://openweathermap.org)
OpenSprinklerShop.de:3335 : DarkSky (https://darksky.net) <— Don't use it, it's just a test!
OpenSprinklerShop.de:3336 : OpenMeteo (https://open-meteo.com)Admin
KeymasterNever had any temperature problems, mine is running at 46°C
Have you checked your running processes with ‘top’? Maybe something is running with 100% load…?
Admin
KeymasterHello,
This is probably due to the OpenSprinkler firmware used, the older version has problems with DNS resolution immediately after rebooting.
Either update the firmware or enter the ip (OpenSprinklerShop.de = 130.180.44.149)

KeymasterSo OpenSprinkler can control up to two master irrigation circuits. A master irrigation circuit is always opened before the first valve and closed again after the last one. This already allows the process to start and end. If I understand correctly, either the submersible pump or the Hunter valve must be controlled, depending on the sensor. I would then control this with a relay, which gives the voltage to the valve or pump.
Unfortunately, there is no direct control option, mainly because the voltages are different (valves 24VAC, pump 230VAC).
Admin
KeymasterHi,
So the OpenSprinkler AC and the OSPi run with 24VAC, that would be possible. But what happens next, the valves have to be controlled? – This can only be solved with a separate cable to the valves.

KeymasterOn the A2D you have to connect the rain sensor to VIN(+5V) and SN1!
This is also what it says in the description: https://OpenSprinklerShop.de/product/a2d-analog-zu-digital-adapter-fuer-OpenSprinkler

KeymasterManual start of irrigation circuits or programs is not interrupted by sensors.
Otherwise, it would not be possible to start a program manually if a sensor has been triggered.

KeymasterYou turn the small pots with a small Phillips screwdriver.
If it is damp but the LED is off, turn to the right until the LED lights up.
If it is dry but the LED is on, turn to the left until the LED goes off.
The A2D is powered by the OSpi, the pin assignment is (left to right): GND, SN1, SN2, VIN (+5V)
Actually, you should install the soil moisture sensor where moisture is important. This could definitely be under the drip hose. The only important thing is the time delay, so that it doesn't switch off right away with the first drop.
The OSPi supplies the Raspberry Pi with power via the 24VAC power supply. Only with the old 1.43 version and the RPi 3 or 4 was the power supply too low, since version 1.5. But that's no longer a problem. Here you also had to connect the RPi power supply.
By the way, it doesn't work the other way around, so only the RPi power supply cannot supply the OSPi and the solenoid valves!

KeymasterIt's all in the table below: https://OpenSprinklerShop.de/product/OpenSprinkler-zone-expander
2.1AC
Admin
KeymasterThat simply means: Don't water if the moisture sensor says wet or the rain sensor says rain
You just have to enter a delay into the moisture sensor, otherwise it switches on as soon as you water (>watering time). With the rain sensor everything stays at 0.0
Is therefore possible

KeymasterHello hg, Everything is actually described in the English-language OpenSprinkler forum, in the associated instructions and knowledge base articles and in the OpenSprinkler GitHub repository. It's a bit tedious to collect everything, but unfortunately there's no complete description in one place. The easiest way would be to register the Netatmo Station in Weather Underground, update the OpenSprinkler firmware and then access the weather data from Weather Underground. Here are some interesting links on the topic: https://OpenSprinkler.com/forums/topic/error-building-firmware-from-source/ https://openthings.freshdesk.com/support/home https://github.com/OpenSprinkler Unfortunately, I'll be on vacation for the next three weeks, but I'm happy to help if possible afterwards. Greetings Franz (passed on)

KeymasterIf they are opened immediately after power is applied, then you have a DC power supply and not an AC.
If we can check this, please send a photo of the power supply
